Recipe of the Week 03/29/2008:

Chocolate Cake (shot)

Alright, so I’ll admit it, I was a little distraught at the thought of having to find another publisher. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate all that came out of my relationship with DEP and how I hate to see it go, but I have to move on…

 

What better way to do that than by having a chocolate cake? What’s that you say? Oh no, we’re not going to eat chocolate cake, we’re going to drink chocolate cake!

 

Ingredients

Lemon wedge

Sugar (you can pour a little on a napkin or wax paper to avoid a mess)

1/2 oz Frangelico (or other Hazelnut liqueur)
1/2 oz Stolichnaya Vanil vodka (I like Smirnoff Vanilla, too)

Instructions

1. Frost the rim of a shot glass with sugar

2. Add the vanilla vodka and Frangelico hazelnut liqueur; stir together.

3. To drink: Lick the sugar rim, shoot the mixture, and bite a piece of lemon. Tastes just like Chocolate Cake!
