Grayson is a writer of many types of fiction but she focuses on romance and fantasy works. She recently began a paranormal romance series called The Delicious Dark Side. She also has a dark urban fantasy work called Bright Star that you can preview in the Fantasy and Horror section. See the new trailers for this April 6 print release below.

December 12, 2009

· It’s almost time for The Prescription Playboy! I am so excited about this release. This book has been through so many edits and iterations over the last three years, that I can honestly say that—more than anything else I’ve written—I’m glad it’s done and ready to be viewed by the public!

· I’ll be giving away a free eBook copy on Amused Authors at http://amusedauthors.wordpress.com this month, so keep an eye out for how you can read yours.

· How dry I am… Friends, I’m having a terrible time completing some of the projects closest to my heart? Why? I dunno. I’m not having writer’s block because I am writing about as much as I ever do… but the stories or projects I’m working on are *not* those that take priority in my brain. What is up with that? I don’t know, but never fear, dear fan, a return to the dark and quirky and cerebral awaits!

· I’ve just posted information on my newest story. It’s very dark and based on Metamorphoses by Ovid. Nobody writes horror and tragedy like the Ancient Greeks! Check out my updated version of this tale entitled “The Fascination: Swallow and Nightingale.” This is a horror story meant to hurt you just a little with its beauty.

· The Builder has received some really great reviews over the past couple of months. · I’d like to mention that my odd and recent fascination with the Chupacabra has prompted me to start a short story called “The Real Goat Suck.” I’m pretty sure this work will never be put out to the world for commercial release, but writing it has tickled me to no end.

· Coming in December 2009: The Prescription Playboy. That’s right. Can you believe it? A year and 30,000 less later, I bring you this revamped and revised romantic masterpiece! It’s funny, it’s sweet, it’s sexy. What more can you ask for? Take a peek here.

· What would an update be without me mentioning my May 18, 2009 release, The Builder. It’s a contemporary romance with a lot of heart and just a little bit of mystery. It has received a lovely review from You Gotta Read Reviews. Roberta says: Without giving anything away, there are some twists and turns in the plot that will leave you breathless. The author will also tug at your heart strings in places. A few times I could feel the onset of tears. Needless to say, I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed with this story.

· Hey everybody!

· I just completed edits on The Builder, my May release. The Builder was initially a part of my Delicious Dark Side series, however for a few good reasons, it has been split from the rest of the series. Much of the initial paranormal element in the original version has been eliminated. While that was somewhat sad for me, I have to say that it was really and truly the best for the book and now it is even better than it started out.

· Ever think you need a few more hands? I think I do. I’m trying to plan my projects a bit here lately. By planning, I mean organize the order in which I will attack them. So you can rest assured that I am still writing by the seat of my pants. I don’t think I’ll ever be a plotter. Still, I’m working on Domina, sequel to Bright Star still. I’m also working on A Sharpest Wife. And, I have decided to change my approach on my primary project, Appetite. It’s a deliciously dark, humorous, and sexy take on the Pandora’s Box Mythos.

· I’m blogging about “Lost” today over at Amused Authors, would love to hear your thoughts. I’m just not sure I’m happy with the flashes of light and nose bleeds that have taken over this season.

· Bitten by Books reviewed Bright Star! Here’s a quote “My imagination danced as the story ended. Bright Star is soundly written and entrancing. I was most fascinated by the powers the characters held, each different but uniquely refreshing from the banal talents that you find in movies and TV shows of today. This is an enchanting read.”
